  PSI Diamond Cut-Off Blades are used for cutting very hard, non-ferrous materials such as rocks, ceramics, carbides and semi-conductors. PSI Diamond Blades are normally available in two basic specifications - Resin Bonded (RB) with a high diamond concentration (HC) for routine use and Metal . Bonded (MB) with low diamond concentration (LC). Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) blades, available in two specifications, are very effective on most ferrous materials, including iron and nickel based super alloys.

Cutting Fluid

         The use of cutting fluids is always recommended to enhance the performance of thesectioning blades, lubricate and cool the sample at full strength. and control dust. Use low speed for gravity-fed saws. High speed is for speeds above 1000 RPM and diluted 2-5% with soft-water. LubriCut is easier to clean and leaves behind a less oily residue.
